I love this film. I think I'd love it even if I wasn't already a fan of roots music, but the soundtrack certainly doesn't hurt.

John Steinbeck: Travels With Charley

A fascinating trip through time, a chance to see the USA through the eyes of a wonderful writer, just before the turbulent 60's era. Some consider it too dated, but many issues Steinbeck addressed are still very much with us today.
